Stephen King has called this new horror movie “an extraordinary piece of work”
We’ve already told you how good A Quiet Place is.
Starring Emily Blunt and The US Office’s John Kransinski (who are real life husband and wife), it’s about around a family of four that must navigate their lives in silence. Why? Well, if anyone makes a noise, horrific creatures that hunt by sound will instantly attack and kill. Simply put, if they hear you, they hunt you.
It is clever, original and scary – everything you want in a horror movie.
But if our word isn’t enough, would a recommendation from Stephen King convince you to get down to your local masterpiece. If the brilliant author who wrote IT, The Shining, Carrie, Misery, The Stand, Pet Sematary, and about a million other classics, says you should see it, you probably should.
A QUIET PLACE is an extraordinary piece of work. Terrific acting, but the main thing is the SILENCE, and how it makes the camera's eye open wide in a way few movies manage.

He praises the acting, but also says that it is the silence that makes it so scary.
