When the John Lewis adverts get released each year, a flurry of recuts and parodies surface online. Sometimes people try and beat the band and release their own ads, pretending to be the real thing. This year, one advert almost fooled people and we have to admit, it's quite good.
The video was posted on YouTube a few days ago with the title, 'John Lewis Christmas 2017 Advert Fox and Mouse'. It features a chase between a fox and a mouse, and two intervening sleeping owls. It has the same style that has been seen in previous John Lewis adverts so it was almost plausible.
The ending isn't in tune with their storylines however, so it led people to call its bluff.
Luckily, Moz The Monster was revealed and this one was outed for being a fake.
