Emmerdale fans will be unhappy to hear that Adam Thomas has decided to quit the show.

The actor has been part of the Emmerdale community for eight years but will be leaving the show to pursue other interests. Only last year he appeared on I'm a Celeb and it seems the taste of reality TV means he wants a show of his own. According to The Sun, a source said:
"Adam’s had a great time but he’s spent eight years in the Dales and thinks the time is right. It’s a headache for bosses as he’s a recognisable face, especially after I’m A Celebrity.”
He's been a prominent character in the soap and it's reported that he will be written out at the end of this year. How it will happen, we don't know yet. His brother Ryan left Coronation Street in 2016 to pursue a career in Hollywood, so you never know Adam might fancy his chances over there as well.
