The Michaels
The parents, Carolyne and Andy, are both retired following Andy's career as a hotelier. He did try to get into politics - something which saw the family leave the show two years ago - but after he failed to get enough votes the family returned, much to the delight of viewers.
As for the children, Louis studies at the University of Chichester and his older sister Alex has a Masters in Computer Science. Carolyne and Andy also have two other children, Katie and Pascal, who weren't seen on the show until Katie filled in for Alex after she returned from living in Australia.
Leon and June
Leon was a history teacher and June was an English teacher but they're both retired now. They met back in teaching college and enjoy passing their spare time in the local swimming baths.
Chris and Stephen
It won't be any surprise to learn that both Chris and Stephen are hairdressers. It's often their trendy new hairstyles, rather than their comments they make, which get people talking.
Sandy and Sandra
Sandy spends a lot of her time minding her grandchild Shiloh, while Sandra, who is currently unemployed, mainly spends her time reading books on how to be funny.
Giles and Mary
Giles is an artist and Mary is a writer best known for being The Spectator’s agony aunt. Her writing career began in 1984 at Tatler and has written a book called How The Queen Can Make You Happy.
And there we were thinking they had all quit their jobs to just star in Gogglebox.
