Prosecutors accused her of not paying €14.5 million in taxes, which Shakira not only refutes, but counters that she paid an additional €3 million in interest. The date of the trial has not yet been announced, but you might think that the last thing the 45-year-old singer might want to do right now is put out any new music. Not so with Shakira, who released a new track simply called 'Shakira: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol.53', which... admittedly, isn't a super catchy title. However, while the production on the Spanish-language track is fantastic and the song overall is an absolute banger, it is only when you put the lyrics through Google Translate that the full power is revealed.
