A new teaser trailer and the episode titles for Season 3 of Stranger Things have been revealed

In the summer of 1985, the adventure continues

Granted, that’s not quite as catchy as Bryan Adams’ track where he told us about getting his first real six-string, but it’s bound to be a whole lot weirder as we’re about to venture back to Hawkins, Indiana for the third season of Stranger Things.

Of course, at the end of Season Two, we learned that The Mind Flayer and the lab’s sinister basement still pose a massive threat to the gang. We also know that there are more telekinetic kids like Eleven in the world.

All of this pales in comparison, of course, to Steve cementing his iconic status (that hair), Dustin becoming the coolest member of the gang, and Bob, well, it’s still too soon (cries uncontrollably)…

Anyways, filming is currently underway for the third season and we’ve been treated to the first teaser video of what’s in store.

Of course, people will be trying to decipher and work out what the episode titles might mean and on this note, the titles for the new season are a mix of the intriguing (“The Case Of The Missing Lifeguard”), the odd (“Suzie, Do you Copy?”, “The Sauna Test”), the Kevin Smith-inspired (“The Mall Rats”), the dark (“The Source”, “The Bite’) and the mostly self-explanatory (“The Birthday”, “The Battle Of Starcourt”).

As you may remember, The Starcourt Mall was teased in the very first trailer for the third season.

The new mall setting, tied in with the ’80s era, has us immediately thinking about Dawn Of The Dead.

Could we be seeing Stranger Things moving into a kind of zombie siege situation? Now that would be cool.

We do know that the show will be set in the summer of 1985 and that Netflix has hinted at a summer release date – the show previously aired during the Halloween season.

What do these episode titles mean? Who the hell knows?!

We’re just happy to be head back to The Upside Down… we think.
