Ronda Rousey is set for an unusual role in her latest film


Ronda Rousey is set to add to her list of big screen appearances.

Having already appeared in Furious 7 and Entourage, it appears that the UFC fighter will now be starring in the remake of 1989 movie, Road House.

Interestingly, Rousey is said to be taking on a role as a bar bouncer, made famous by the late Patrick Swayze.

According to, she sought the blessing of Swayze’s widow, Lisa Niemi before accepting.

Filming is said to be starting in early 2016, meaning we might have to wait until the following year to see the UFC champ on the big screen again.
