In October, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns shocked wrestling fans across the world by announcing he had been diagnosed with leukemia, live on Monday Night Raw. During the emotional speech, Reigns - real name Joe Anoaʻi - revealed that had been diagnosed 11 years ago but had been in remission, and now the cancer had returned. Reigns confirmed he would be vacating his title and stepping away from the ring to fight the disease, and spend time with his family.
