Plan B returns with brand new single “Guess Again”, announces UK tour

Will Lavin

Strickland Banks is back.

He’s back! Three-time Ivor Novello Award-winning Plan B (real name Ben Drew), has today unveiled his new single, “Guess Again”.

Set to land on his upcoming fourth studio album, Heaven Before All Hell Breaks Loose, which is due to arrive May 4th, the song was premiered last night by Annie Mac as her ‘Hottest Record’ on Radio 1. Showcasing Plan B’s musical versatility – he literally delivers a new sound every album – while the song ventures into dancehall-influenced waters it still keeps his signature politically charged lyrical content in tact.

“Try to divide us and we grow stronger/ Can’t fight us no longer/ Man are too righteous, ain’t going under/ We’ll take them down instead/ Drop ’em on their head from the height of Mount Everest/ We don’t bow down to no terrorists/ So why we gonna kneel for the politicians/ When we see ’em go on so treacherous?”

Written and produced by Plan B, with some help from FRED (Charli XCX, Stefflon Don) and Show N Prove, you can listen to “Guess Again” below:
