EastEnders viewers were gripped to TV screens on Thursday evening as Phil Mitchell finally discovered that his wife Sharon had been hiding a huge secret.
Viewers already knew that Sharon had stolen the cash from Aidan Maguire's heist scam but Phil was none the wiser.
As those watching Thursday's show will know, Phil was originally suspicious of Mel Owen and thought she was the person behind the theft.
It was only when he prepared to share his suspicions with Sharon that she admitted that she had taken the money.
At this point, Sharon feared her husband was on her trail and thought it better to confess.
