But there had been some discontent from fans in London and the south about a lack of dates in their neck of the woods.
Those worries will now be somewhat eased following the announcement that Kay will have a monthly residency at the O2 in London. In total, the Bolton-born comedian will perform 12 shows at the O2, from Friday, December 15 and running all the way through to Saturday, November 18, 2023. https://twitter.com/peterkay_co_uk/status/1590259151359586305 Kay announced the news on the BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show with Zoe Ball. "Audiences in London have always been amongst the best in Britain, plus I think seeing the show could be part of a nice weekend away treat," Kay told the radio host.“It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh it’s now. And with the cost of living at an all-time high, ticket prices are starting from £35. The same price they were on my previous tour in 2010."
