Peter Dinklage has responded to the latest bonkers Game of Thrones theory

Paul Moore

He drinks and he knows things.

“He’s a clever man, your Hand. I’ve known a great many clever men. I’ve outlived them all. You know why? I ignored them” – Olenna Tyrell.

If you’re going to take advice from anyone, it really should be the Queen of Thorns because she knows what she’s talking about and she’s right about the latest rumours regarding Tyrion.

Ever since we were first introduced to the youngest Lannister, it’s clear that he’s one of the smartest men in the Seven Kingdoms. As he told Jon Snow, “My brother has his sword, King Robert has his warhammer and I have my mind…and a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone if it is to keep its edge.”

He also knows his way around a brothel and a tavern, but that’s another reason why we all love Tyrion.

All things considered, he’s a pretty clever dude but it doesn’t take a Maester to see through the latest rumour that was spreading through the realm.

After breathing fire in a recent Doritos advert with Morgan Freeeman, plenty of people assumed that this was’proof’ of an extremely popular theory – Tyrion’s a Targaryen.

As stated before, even by the standards of crackpot Game of Thrones theories, this one was a very long stretch.

Anyway, in an interview with the Huffington Post, Dinklage addressed the latest theory.

“I love every single theory the fans of our show have, because they’re so much fun. They get to show the dedication and love they have for the show, but you have to understand that it is a Doritos commercial. It’s not ‘Game of Thrones’. So [fans] are sort of stretching the limit with that theory when you’re branching out to Frito-Lay commercials. But I say that with all love and respect. Please, I love them. I love the fan theories that they have until the show is finally over,” he said.

Does this mean that Morgan Freeman isn’t the Night King? Awwwwwww.
