First Pete Davidson won over Kim, now he's set to beat Kanye in the space race
Pete Davidson wants
Jeff Bezos to send him into space on his next trip in a move that may add fuel to his feud with
Kanye West who appears to have space plans all of his own.
First
reported by New York Post's Page Six, the 28-year-old comedian reportedly met with the
Amazon billionaire for dinner along with his current girlfriend, the newly single ex-West,
Kim Kardashian.
The couple was said to have been spotted entering Bezos' LA compound and while nothing has been confirmed yet, a source told Page Six that Davidson is looking to secure his seat on the next
Blue Origin flight.
The insider revealed that “they haven’t signed a contract yet, but it looks like it’s going to happen", adding that "he got on really well with Jeff when they met.”
A trip to space doesn't come cheap - it's said to cost
around $250,000, but that should be no problem for
SNL and
King of Staten Island star, Davidson.
West, who now goes simply by Ye, appears to have his own designs on space travel. He's good buddies with Bezos' billionaire rival, Elon Musk, and was
snapped with him recently.
The rapper, who has also visited Musk's SpaceX company a number of times, captioned the pic "Ye X Elon," adding the spaceship emoticons.
Davidson's relationship with Kim hasn't gone down well with Ye, who has shared numerous
inflammatory social media posts about the man he calls "Skete". In his new music video for
Eazy, Ye
decapitates and buries Davidson.
