Happy Valentine's Day... by order of the Peaky Blinders!
While Steven Knight has teased us with his belief that Season 5 of Peaky Blinders is 'honestly the best one yet,' there's already a few little tidbits of information that we can put together to see if it lives up to that billing.
As we already know, the new season will deal with the rise of fascism in Britain and the seismic impact the Wall Street Crash had at the time, but aside from this, very little is known about the eagerly-anticipated drama ahead of its return.
However, given the events that unfolded in Season 4, it's possible to piece together a few details and speculate about what's in store.
The season finale saw Tommy Shelby being elected to Westminster as a Labour MP and we can assume that the new season will have a political dimension. We've also been assured there are plenty of moments which feature Arthur 'losing it.'
Bring it on.
With John Shelby now sadly deceased, it's fair to assume that Finn will be playing a more prominent role in the series - we saw him having that very significant chat in Tommy's office about 'being a man' and he also 'blinded' the person who attacked Arthur in the finale of Season 4.
In a recent Q&A on Instagram, Harry Kirton (Finn) said that "Peaky is probably coming out at the other end of this year".
"So, September/October time. I'm very excited and you should be to. Finn has to grow up (in the new) season," he adds.
Before the hype builds, it's worth noting that the BBC haven't confirmed an official release date yet - the show is still being edited, as per Anthony Byrne's (director) Instagram post below - but this is the closest thing to an official release date we've received.
We can't wait.
