Netflix has just added all of Pantheon, a sci-fi series that premiered in 2022 and holds a perfect 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The animated show revolves around a bullied teen named Maddie (voiced by Katie Chang) who begins receiving messages from a mysterious stranger who claims to be her recently deceased father, David (Daniel Dae Kim).
Maddie and her mother Ellen (Rosemarie DeWitt) start to suspect that David's consciousness has been uploaded to the cloud.
This storyline intersects with others, one of which is about another teenager named Caspian (Paul Dano) whose parents are hiding a massive secret from him.
There is also a plot line involving the kidnapping of a brilliant young tech engineer named Chanda (Raza Jaffrey).
Based on a series of short stories by Ken Liu, the voice cast of Pantheon also includes Aaron Eckhart, Chris Diamantopoulos, Corey Stoll, Ken Leung, Kevin Durand, Maude Apatow, Michael Kelly, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Ron Livingston, Rosa Salazar, Scoot McNairy, Taylor Schilling, Thomasin McKenzie and William Hurt.
The show first aired on AMC+ in the States, running for two seasons.
Upon release, Pantheon earned rave reviews from critics - garnering a perfect 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.
In particular, it was praised for its intelligent and timely story, its thriller elements, its emotional voice performances and its gorgeous animation.
You can read a sample of the glowing reviews for Pantheon season one below:
The Hollywood Reporter: "It’s a portrait of a rapidly changing world that takes care to document the emotional carnage left in its wake, to gripping, troubling and ultimately quite moving effect."

Slant Magazine: "The series asks big, Blade Runner-sized questions about what it means to be human."

Pantheon season one was added to Netflix in the UK and Ireland last November, while the streaming service has just added season two.
