Given the fact that it's the bloodiest show on television, it'd be a bit of a waste to have the world's most famous fighter and not have him tear someone from limb to limb. With that in mind, the odds of McGregor himself being killed on the show are a short 4/5. “As no stranger to physical violence Conor McGregor will feel right at home in Westeros," said a Paddy Power spokesman. "The Dubliner looked untouchable in his last outing against Eddie Alvarez but his odds on meeting his maker on Game Of Thrones would suggest that it won’t all be plain sailing for the all-conquering Irishman."

With Dana White appearing to confirm McGregor’s appearance on the show, Watchers on the Wall also received information from an unidentified source who suggested that McGregor will play a pirate belonging to Euron Greyjoy’s crew on the ship, 'Silence'. The cameo, the source says, will be a brief one and it won’t be a speaking part.
