Yes that's right folks, one of the most terrifying horrors of the 21st century is on TV tonight and also available on BBC iPlayer just in time for Halloween.
Our movie pick for tonight is this 2014 Australian psychological horror about a widowed single mother (an incredible Essie Davis) and her son (Noah Wiseman) who fall into a deep well of paranoia when an eerie children's book titled Mister Babadook manifests in their home.
The astonishing feature debut of writer-director Jennifer Kent (The Nightingale), The Babadook felt revelatory upon release for the way it uses the horror genre to tell a deeply human and powerful story about grief and parental fears.
In fact, it could be credited with kickstarting the wave of more artier hit horrors in recent years, alongside Hereditary, Get Out, It Follows and The Witch.
The Babadook is also available to rent on several services including Apple TV, Google Play, Volta and Rakuten TV.
If that wasn't enough for you then we've also got a whole host of other movies on over the evening.
The long-awaited, pretty disappointing sequel to the classic '90s sci-fi blockbuster.
A shy and bullied 16-year-old (Sissy Spacek) discovers she has telekinetic powers in this Brian De Palma-directed adaptation of Stephen King's debut novel.
Nearly 50 years after its release, it is still one of the best movies based on the author's work.
The decent first entry in the long-running zombie movie franchise based on the popular video games.
The beloved '80s road trip comedy starring Chevy Chase.
A British action-thriller with a cast that includes Andy Serkis and Ruby Rose.
