An unexpected cameo.
Bill Nye is somewhat well known on this side of the Atlantic, but over in America he was a fixture of millions of 90s childhoods. His kids’ show Bill Nye The Science Guy ran for nearly a decade, inspiring children to get into science. He’s since become a beloved cult figure, making appearances on shows like Futurama and The Big Bang Theory, and even had his own Netflix series this year, Bill Nye Save The World, featuring guests as diverse as Zach Braff, Desiigner, Randy Couture and Steve Aoki.

Which is what makes this clip so funny.
In the video posted on Twitter, a group of girls were messing around Snapchatting, when the elevator suddenly opens, and Nye walks out. Suddenly they all start screaming – it would be enough startle most, but Nye just coolly lifts his hand for a simple wave.
