He's not a bad dad...

Noel Gallagher didn’t have a pot to p*** in until his late twenties, he’s glad his kids are more privileged.

The frontman said: “My kids have got a f***ing amazing childhood. I want them to be smart intelligent guys. I don’t want them to be scruffy oiks from a council estate. I don’t want them to be like me. I want to be the only me in my house and I want them to be them.”

Noel is a father-of-three to daughter Anaïs Gallagher with ex-wife Meg Matthews and sons, Sonny Patrick MacDonald Gallagher and Donovan Rory MacDonald with wife Sara MacDonald.

The 48-year-old rocker, who grew up on a council estate in Manchester, said he doesn’t want to deprive his children of nice things simply to “toughen them up”.

He told the Mirror: “Just because I didn’t have any f***ing money to speak of until I was 26, I’m not going to deny them private school, nice clothes, holidays, cars and all that s***. I would have to be a f***ing a***hole to toughen the kids up and all that.”
