At least they tried to work their problems out
Nicolas Cage has filed for divorce, just four days after marrying his girlfriend, Erika Koike. The couple had been together since April 2018.
The couple tied the knot in Las Vegas over the weekend but ol’ Nic appears to have had a change of heart. It has been reported that he came to the decision of trying to seek an annulment because he believes Erika is after his money.
Footage emerged of the couple going to get their marriage licence in Las Vegas, with Koike telling the actor: “I never asked you to do this”, before he smiles and says “come on, let’s go”.
A witness also gave some insight on the scenario, which occurred last weekend.

“They started by filling the application in one of the machines,” said the witness.
“The whole time he was yelling ‘she is going to take all my money’ and ‘her ex is a druggy, her ex is a druggy’.”
According to the witness, Koike kept saying: “Baby, I am not asking you to do this.”
This is the fourth time that Nicolas Cage has been married. The actor married Patricia Arquette in 1995, and a year after they split in 2001, he married Lisa Marie Presley.
He married his third wife, Alice Kim, in 2004, and they stayed together until 2016.
