For the first time in five years, Salad Fingers is back.
'Glass Brother', the eleventh episode of David Firth's dark and disturbing web cartoon has just debuted on YouTube, after previously being available to Patreon subscribers.
The latest instalment is business as usual - well as 'usual' as Salad Fingers gets. It opens with him talking to finger puppets, then ripping them apart with his mouth. The main plot then features Salad Fingers being haunted by a mirror-world version of himself, and creating a new friend out of discarded flesh.
The short features music from Locust Toybox and acclaimed experimental hip-hop producer Flying Lotus.
First debuting in 2004, the surreal Flash animation has delighted and confused thousands of fans across the world. Spreading first through Newgrounds (remember that?) and then YouTube, Salad Fingers himself was a strange, bald figure with David Firth's distinctive Yorkshire voice, who stumbled around a grim hellscape looking for rusty spoons.
The last episode, up until today, was posted back in 2013.
Here are all the previous episodes, if you need to catch up.
