It's the greatest feeling when you wake up early on Christmas Day, run to the tree and unwrap that first gift to be met by plot twists, colourful language and lashes of blood.
Quentin Tarantino's new film The Hateful Eight will be released on December 25, three years to the day after the director's most recent offering Django Unchained.
The all-star cast features some Tarantino stalwarts such as Samuel L Jackson and Tim Roth, as well as 80s star Kurt Russell.
Set in Wyoming shortly after the US Civil War, The Hateful Eight will initially be released in the extra-large 70mm format, which is these days reserved for only the most special of occasions.
We can barely wait that long, so in the meantime here's one of our favourite Tarantino scenes.
