Guy Ritchie’s next project is already looking incredible
The Gentlemen is one of the biggest shows of 2024, but it seems fans are in for another great series from creator Guy Ritchie.
Reports indicate that the director’s next project is going to be even more star-studded, with some major names being all but confirmed.
The new series is reportedly called The Associate, per Deadline, and will follow two different generations of gangsters, their businesses, and their relationships.
Tom Hardy is set to star as a character called Harry, with Pierce Brosnan as the family’s patriarch, and Helen Mirren as the matriarch.
Ritchie will direct and produce, alongside Ronan Bennett, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin and Ivan Atkinson.
It is set to air on Paramount+.
It comes after a blockbuster year for the 56-year-old director.
His Netflix spin-off series The Gentlemen was one of the biggest shows of the year upon its March release, and then just a few months later The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare released.
The film revolves around a ragtag team of secret agents sent to sabotage Nazi U-boats during the Second World War.
It’s described as an exaggerated spin on the real-life mission known as Operation Postmaster – a British special operation conducted on the Spanish island of Fernando Po, now known as Bioko, off West Africa in the Gulf of Guinea, during WWII.
