Yes, there are two more weeks of Love Island action left and things are presumably set to ratchet up from a high simmer to about as close as you can to a boil without someone being burned.
How, I hear you ask, will the producers of the show pull this off? How will these TV whizzes manage to take what has been the televisual showpiece of this generation and somehow make it even more exciting and compelling.
Will they introduce a raccoon into the house, while simultaneously depositing jars of honey in hidden areas, and watch the hi-jinx that the the islanders get up to when forced to co-exist with a mammal that looks like a little bank robber?
No. As fun as that would be, it’s unfortunately not going to happen. Instead they’re going to introduce a new human into the house, in the form of Stephanie Lam.
Who is Stephanie Lam? She is a woman who has 40,000 followers on Instagram, proving that she is tech savvy.
She also had a job, which she had to quit before leaving the United Kingdom for Majorca, which shows that she is responsible.
Interestingly, she has apparently been dating a man named Chris Hughes, who you may remember from last season’s version of the show.
According to The Sun, the two have been dating for a while, but Chris was happy for her to go on the show, presumably so she could witness the wonder that is Alex’s burned nose up close and in the flesh.
