The Mechanism is a fictional drama series that’s loosely inspired by the investigation about allegations of corruption of state and privately owned oil and construction companies in Brazil.
José Padilha has already proven himself to be a very talented director (Narcos, Elite Squad 1 & 2, RoboCop) and we’re more than confident that he’s going to deliver a drama that’s just as addictive as Narcos.
The Mechanism premieres 23 March 2018 on Netflix.
