They’ve revealed a huge cameo
Netflix has released their first look at Happy Gilmore 2, which is set to release in 2025.
Film fans were treated to 33 seconds of fun from Adam Sandler in the new teaser trailer.

One of the biggest reveals from the clip is that none other than Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce, known to many as Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, is set to star in the film.
Kelce is not the only exciting stars we are expecting to see in the sequel.
Earlier this year, fans realised Ben Stiller is returning for Happy Gilmore 2, reprising his role as Hal L. opposite Adam Sandler.
Stiller was pictured in costume on the set of the film in New Jersey. Other returning cast members for the Happy Gilmore sequel are Sandler as the titular character, Christopher McDonald as Shooter McGavin and Julie Bowen as Virginia Venit.
Whilst Stiller’s return hasn’t been officially confirmed by Netflix, photos have emerged of him as an older version of his character, still sporting Hal L’s recognisable handlebar moustache.
Happy Gilmore 2 was officially announced by Netflix earlier this year, following months of rumours.
The original film was a box-office hit on its release in 1996, making nearly $40 million worldwide, and cemented Sandler as one of the biggest comedy stars of the 90s.
The golf-based comedy has gone on to earn cult status and is one of Sandler’s most successful films.
The movie sees Sandler play Happy Gilmore, an unsuccessful ice hockey player who discovers a newfound talent for golf and competes in a tournament to save his grandmother’s home from foreclosure.
He faces off against Shooter McGavin an arrogant star golfer who despises Happy’s lack of proper etiquette and acts as the main antagonist of the film.
A release date and plot details are yet to be confirmed, but Sandler has teased some vague plot information.
Speaking about the story on Kelce’s New Heights podcast, he said the movie “icks up from an older guy who played golf a long time.”
He continued: “Some stuff goes on in his life, and he’s different. He’s a bit of a mess. And then we try to get his life cooking again.”
