Film-goers and video game fans alike are anticipating the 2016 release of Assassin's Creed,

The Hollywood movie based on the extremely popular video game will see Fassbender play a character called Callum Lynch, created specifically for the big screen version. Fassbender's character discovers he is a descendent of the ancient Assassins society who must take on the oppressive Knights Templar organisation, and he looks pretty badass while doing so. https://twitter.com/20thcenturyfox/status/637096993039384576?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw The Assassin's Creed film won't be a retelling of the video games, rather it will feature a host of new characters and take place in the Assassin's Creed universe. It's set to be a star-studded cast, also featuring the Oscar-winning Marion Cotillard, Michael Kenneth Williams (of The Wire), and Ariane Labed.
