The Wrap have reported that Chris Hemsworth is the preferred leading man for the upcoming MIB reboot. The Australian actor seems like the perfect fit for this role because he's more than capable of handling the physicality of any stunts and as his showed in Ghostbusters and Thor: Ragnarok, he's a skilled comedic performer too.
Regarding the plot, little is know apart from the fact that the film will follow a new pair of agents who work for the secretive New York agency that defends Earth from hostile aliens and helps friendly ones blend into human society. The Wrap have also reported that the MIB reboot is being compared to Jurassic World because the studio wants to take the series in a "newer, bigger direction while giving a nod to the previous films and characters in the series"
The script is written by Iron Man scribes Matt Holloway & Art Marcum and it's set to be released on June 14, 2019.
