We can’t wait to see this

Macaulay Culkin’s latest acting gig has been revealed as the former child-star is set to appear in the second series of Fallout on Prime Video.

The 44-year-old’s acclaimed performance on American Horror Story reignited his career and he has now bagged himself a recurring role on the Prime Video show.

While details are still under wraps on the character Culkin is playing, Deadline reported on Wednesday that his role was as a ‘crazy genius type’.

The show is based on the popular video game series and set 200 years after a nuclear apocalypse.

The first series earned 16 Emmy nominations including for Outstanding Drama Series.

Culkin will join a stacked cast which includes Ella Purnell as Lucy, Aaron Moten as Maximus, Walton Goggins as the Ghoul.

According to Amazon the series drew in 65 million viewers within its first 16 days after the entire first season was released on April 10.

Culkin rose to fame in the 90s when he was cast as Kevin McCallister in the comedy Home Alone, and his performance earned him a Golden Globe nomination.

Culkin went on to star in the film My Girl, Home Alone 2 and The Good Son but retired from acting at age 14.

Since returning to film and TV, Culkin’s recent projects include voicing a character in The Second Best Hospital in the Galaxy, multiple episodes of The Righteous Gemstones, and a memorable role in American Horror Story: Double Feature.

The news comes after Culkin and his fiancé Brenda Song, who he shares two sons with Dakota and Carson, were spotted enjoying a rare night out at the Academy Museum Gala last month.

The pair met on the set of Changeland in June 2017 and a month later went on a double date and have been together ever since.

They welcomed their first child together, Dakota, on April 5, 2021. He was named after the Richie Rich actor’s late sister who passed in 2008 of a tragic car accident.

The couple got engaged in January 2022.
