Love Island sparked debate on Monday night over the age gap between Michael Owen's daughter Gemma and fellow islander Davide. Gemma Owen, 19, has been one of the most high-profile contestants on the show due to her famous father, and as the 2022 series of the the dating show got underway last night she was coupled up with 22-year-old Liam Llewellyn. But in a twist, Davide Sanclimenti, 27, was later added to the villa lineup. Viewers then saw the islanders play a game of dares, and when Gemma was told to kiss the islander she fancied the most, she had no doubt in her mind, making a move straight towards Davide. Several took to Twitter, threatening to complain to the broadcast regulator Ofcom about the show. At 19-year-old, she is the youngest contestant on this year's series.
