Who will follow in the footsteps of last year’s Mercury Prize winners Young Fathers?

The prestigious award celebrates the best British albums from the past year, released between September 9, 2014 and September 25, 2015.

Major artists Jamie xx, Florence + the Machine, Gaz Coombes, Slaves and Roisin Murphy have made this year’s shortlist.

Other albums up for the award include ‘Syro’ by Aphex Twin, ‘Shedding Skin’ by Ghostpoet and ‘Architect’ by C Duncan.
