Lisa Marie Presley reportedly died from a second cardiac arrest suffered while she was in hospital, and passed away after the family signed a 'do not resuscitate' order. The only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley was hospitalised on Thursday after she was found collapsed inside her Calabasas, California, home. TMZ reported Friday that emergency workers managed to revive the 54-year-old, but was brain dead on arrival at hospital. She was then put in an induced coma and on life support as family gathered at her bedside. Lisa Marie's family, reports say, then signed a 'do not resuscitate' order, after learning of the severity of her condition. The performer is then said to have then suffered a second cardiac arrest and died. Her mother Priscilla, 77, was by her bedside. In a statement on Thursday, Priscilla said: "It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us." "She was the most passionate, strong and loving woman I have ever known." Lisa Marie was at the Golden Globes earlier this week where she watched Austin Butler win the Best Actor award for portraying her late father. In his acceptance speech, Butler thanked Priscilla and Lisa Marie, telling them he would love them "forever". Related links:
