A monstrously good performance.
We’d already been teased with a trailer for Lady Gaga’s long-awaited Carpool Karaoke, and today we’ve got the full thing. Gaga is the latest celebrity to join James Corden on his journey into work, following the likes of Justin Bieber, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Coldplay, Michelle Obama and Adele.
As you’d expect, the pair belt out some of Lady Gaga’s biggest hits, including ‘Poker Face’, ‘Bad Romance’, ‘The Edge Of Glory’ and recent single ‘Perfect Illusion’.
In a more unusual twist, the New York-born pop star also takes a turn in the driving seat, which as far as we know is a first for the ridiculously popular The Late Late Show segment.
During the interview she revealed that she only recently passed her driving test, so Corden asked her to show off her new skill for the millions watching at home. We’re sure she didn’t take it personally when he put a crash helmet on halfway through.
Corden was also on top form trying on some of Gaga’s most famous outfits, including the infamous meat dress she wore at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. He recreated the iconic look with cured meat and, well, you can see the results below.
