It turns out that Jon Snow does know something!
Given the plethora of violence that Game of Thrones fans have seen over the years, it’s very reassuring to know that we’re completely immune to it all. Throats slit? That’s standard. Men being flayed and castrated? Just that rascal Ramsay getting up to his old tricks. Men being sliced in two with a sword? That’s a slow day for the Hound.
See, we all love the gore and given the fact that Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and his new fiance Rose Leslie (Ygritte) actually met on the show, you would think that their tolerance for blood and guts would be higher than most.
With his new show, Gunpowder, about to be released in the coming weeks, Harington was a guest on The Jonathan Ross Show to promote its release and during the chat, Harington revealed that his wife-to-be wasn’t best pleased with an April Fool’s prank that he recently played on her.
“It didn’t go down well,” Harington said, stating that while his family regularly pranks and jokes around on April Fool’s Day, Leslie’s family does not.
“After that she was in tears,” he said. “It didn’t go down well. She pretty much told me if I did it ever again that would be it – and I think that’s marriage included.”
We think that this is just Jon Snow’s way of getting payback for Ygritte firing three arrows into him.
