Kanye West threatens to boycott the Grammys, but there’s one big problem…

Kanye West has always been eccentric, but he’s gone full whack over the past few weeks.

Social media spats, three album name changes, and then once he released the record last week, he officially withdrew it a day later. Yes, he’s really done that.

Now he’s vowed to boycott the Grammy Awards if he doesn’t win Album of the Year – but the huge issue with this is that he isn’t even nominated for the prize.

Not that he cares, he’s been practicing his acceptance speech anyway. Surely someone’s told him his album ‘Life of Pablo’ isn’t eligible to win this year and isn’t even on the shortlist?

The rapper has scooped 21 Grammy awards over the years, including Best Rap Album in 2012, which saw his ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ LP scoop the accolade ahead of his ‘Watch the Throne’ collaboration with Jay Z.

But this haul isn’t enough for Kanye – he wants to win at least 100 of the statuettes in his career.

Still, the industry would be a far duller place without him.
