Welcome back to GLOW, also known as the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.

For sheer entertainment value, very few Netflix series came close to GLOW last year and we've been gagging for a second series all through the winter. Well, we have some good news - it's coming on Friday 29 June and Netflix have just released this brilliant, '80s-inspired promo for the series starring Alison Brie, Betty Gilpin and the brilliant Marc Maron. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3Kr0oVXmZE&feature=youtu.be For the uninitiated, the first series was based around struggling actress Ruth Wilder and her attempts to break into showbusiness. After an ill-fated sexual encounter with her best friend's husband, she finds herself auditioning for Maron's troupe of lady wrestlers, and there begins the first step on a very rocky road to infamy. Gun to our heads, we'd describe it as The Karate Kid meets Dirty Dancing meets the WWE, and it's a hell of a lot of fun.
