John Travolta pays heartfelt tribute to Grease co-star Olivia Newton John

John Travolta has paid tribute to his Grease co-star Olivia Newton-John following the news of her death. On Monday evening, Newton-John's family announced that the actor and multi-platinum selling singer had passed away peacefully at the age of 73. Although she had a successful singing career in the early 1970s, her big break came in 1978 when she starred opposite Travolta in the smash hit musical, Grease. In a heartfelt post on Instagram, the actor wrote: "My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. "We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the moment I saw you and forever! This included songs such as "Hopelessly Devoted To You," "You're the One that I Want," "Summer Nights," with the last two both reaching number one in the UK chart. In the film, Newton-John plays Sandy whilst Travolta plays the role of greaser Danny Zuko. The film became the highest-grossing musical film ever and the soundtrack was the second-best-selling album of the year in the US.
