On Sunday, two days after Christopher's funeral, Lawler wrestled at a USA Championship Wrestling event in Jackson Tennessee. He had been booked to appear on the show about six weeks prior, but chose to honour it, wrestling current WWE star James Elsworth.
Lawler paid tribute to his late son, wearing part of his old ring gear.
