James Franco pens a book about ‘real and imaginary conversations’ with Lana Del Rey

Crumbs, James Franco has got it bad.

First the actor writes an essay about his love for Lana Del Rey – who he says “isn’t made for the Earth”.

Now he’s followed it up with a book. Yep, that’s right, a whole book.

Franco, 37, has co-authored a 100-page tome with writer David Shields called Flip-Side: Real And Imaginary Conversations With Lana Del Rey, due out next March.

The US star previously revealed Lana didn’t want to sit down for an interview with him, even though the pair are close friends.

Funny that…

He said: “I wanted to interview Lana for a book and she said, ‘Just write around me, it’s better if it’s not my own words. It’s almost better if you don’t get me exactly, but try.’ “

He previously said: “There’s a weird thing with creative types. Sometimes I love a person’s work and, like, I’m just so enamoured with that and their persona in their work. But outside of that, it’s like, our dynamic is we’re just kind of friends, we get along so well. But all this sexual attraction is for the person and the work.”

My advice? Run Lana, run!
