Jake Paul and Andrew Tate face off as fight negotiations begin

Jake Paul and Andrew Tate are in negotiations to fight each other.

The YouTuber turned boxer, who defeated Anderson Silva late last month, posted a face off video of the pair squaring up on his Twitter around 1pm on Thursday.

The post was captioned: “Negotiations.”

Paul’s boxing record currently stands at 6 wins from 6 fights.

Tate, a controversial figure banned from most social media platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok), is a four-time ISKA kickboxing world champion with a 43-9 record, with fights across both the cruiserweight and super cruiserweight divisions.

The 36-year-old had made endless headlines for his divisive, if not somewhat outrageous views, and his online courses in “modern wealth creation.”

Since retiring from combat sports, Tate has hinted at a return to the ring but only if it is on “his terms”.

He recently listed off a three-man hitlist including YouTuber True Geordie, Jake’s Paul’s brother Logan, and liberal commentator HasanAbi.

Paul recently spoke about the possibility of the fight taking place during an episode of his podcast, BS with Jake Paul, saying: “I don’t think Andrew Tate should be banned. I think freedom of speech is super important and I think private companies should give people like him a second chance. But I don’t think he ever gets into the ring and risks his alpha male appearance to fight me or Logan. Andrew Tate, you’re scared to get into the ring with one of us.”

While Paul has had many detractors, Tate has been complimentary of the influencers prowess in the ring.

“I think Jake Paul is a man who is very dedicated to his craft,” Tate told Rob Moore.

“He is not just a YouTuber, Jake Paul is a boxer. He spends his life training, he has a lot of time, money and resources. The idea he is just a YouTuber is foolish, KSI is just a YouTuber. Jake Paul is a boxer and he is certainly a best of all the influencers are fighting today, hands down.”
