I’m A Celebrity to work around Anthony McPartlin’s absence during filming

Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly - or 'Ant and Dec' as they're better known - are the nation's very favourite entertainment duo. The former Byker Grove stars have won a ridiculous 34 National Television Awards for their work on the likes of Pop Idol, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, and of course I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! But some things are more important than entertaining the public on a weekly basis, and that's why filming on I'm a Celebrity will have to wait until Ant is fully recovered and ready to star in front of the camera again. The 41-year-old became addicted to painkillers after a botched knee operation, and has been in rehab since June. His recovery is said to be going well. The celebrity jungle show starts up again next month, and Ant and Dec were due to film promo videos this week, according to Metro. But this has now been delayed until Ant has completed his rehab course in Los Angeles over coming weeks. Other filming can go ahead, but Dec without Ant just wouldn't be the same so their sections will be rescheduled. We wish Ant the best of luck and can't wait to see him happy, healthy and back on our screens.
