I’m A Celebrity fans puzzled as star goes ‘missing’ during ITV show’s latest instalment

Fans asked ‘where the hell have they hidden’ her?

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here fans were left confused as one contestant appeared to go “missing” during Monday’s  episode of the show.

Fans of the reality TV show expressed their concern on Twitter as one of the celebrities barely featured during the second episode of the latest series that has already seen Olivia Attwood being forced to quit on  medical grounds.

As some of the celebrities took part in the trial, others got themselves better acquainted with camp life. But one star, it seemed, was nowhere to be seen.

Viewers were left searching for Coronation Street legend Sue Cleaver – who plays Eileen Grimshaw on the ITV soap – and have requested the show show more of Sue.

One wrote: “I wanna see the legend that is @Sue _Cleaver #ImACeleb, whilst a second added: “I didn’t even realise Sue from corrie was in the jungle she hasn’t said much today I hope they give her more airtime #ImACeleb.”

A third wrote: “Where the hell have they hidden our sue? #imaceleb,” with a fourth writing: “You near forget Sue Cleaver is there.. #ImACeleb.” A fifth added: “Why is Owen getting all the airtime please where is Sue Cleaver #imaceleb.”

Speaking ahead of the show airing on Sunday, Sue told The Mirror and other press how now was the right time for her to take on the challenge after being asked in previous years: “I’ve always said no, not me. No, I’d never do this. I’ve started on now it’s no I’m not doing that not do and then I think with the pandemic, and we all had a lot of time on our hands,” she said.

She continued: “It sort of changed a lot of stuff for me and then I was 59 in September, and I just thought you know what, I really want to get out of my comfort zone. And you know, just push myself and do something that I would never normally do. So that’s why I’m doing it.”

Sue also revealed she is exited for TV viewers to get to know the person behind the beloved Coro character, saying: “It will be interesting for them – and for me as well – for people to see me outside of my character, but they’ll get a glimpse of the real Sue in a very strange situation. So maybe you know, not the Sue that you’d see at home even.”
