I’m A Celeb fans convinced camp mate has been getting ‘secret meals’ after ‘clue’

‘Apparently she’s being fed in secret. If they didn’t, she’d be in a coma’

I’m a Celebrity fans are convinced one campmate is getting “secret meals”.

And they’ve spotted a “clue” that might give their theory some legitimacy.

Camp mates, as is always the case, are reliant on winning stars during Bushtucker Trials when it comes to food in the jungle.

But viewers think Coronation Street actress Sue Cleaver has access to food behind-the-scenes as she has type 2 diabetes.

Viewers previously spotted Sue wearing a patch – thought to be a glucose monitor – on her arm in the jungle.

It has previously been revealed that the 59-year-old is permitted to use a golf buggy to travel back to camp after trials otherwise her insulin levels could plummet. In 2011, Sue was taken to hospital after collapsing on the Coronation Street set.

The buggy revelation has led fans to speculate how else ITV are safeguarding Sue.

“If she increases her physical exercise when food isn’t readily available, it may alter her need for insulin and put her at risk,” one fan wrote, while another said: “ITV would’ve made sure she has enough food, they have a duty of care.”

A third suggested: “Apparently she’s being fed in secret. If they didn’t, she’d be in a coma.”

After Sue collapsed on set, a source told The Sun: “Sue was looking pretty off at around 9am just as we were getting things ready for filming.

“Then all of a sudden she just seemed to collapse and everyone was panicking. “The on-site medics were called and they were very quick to get to her.”

The speculation comes amid reports that I’m A Celeb bosses have been forced to “edit out” Chris Moyles’ digs at host Ant McPartlin on set.

According to reports, the veteran radio broadcaster has made several remarks alluding to Ant’s past which includes a car crash and a battle with alcoholism.

TV bosses are said to be frustrated at the amount of footage they are having to sift through before airing the ITV programme.

While reports suggest the comments were made as jokes with fellow campmates, they are said to be “causing headaches”.

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “Everyone knows Chris’ humour can be a bit close to the mark and it’s been no different in camp.

“But there have been some p***take remarks to Ant that have become a problem, like when Ant and Dec pulled up in the speedboat in the first episode, Chris joked he was surprised they let Ant in anything so fast because he’s known to crash stuff.”

The source went on to add that there had been a big bottle on the set and Chris had commented that it was similar in size to the bottles of vodka that Ant may have at home.

“Chris is friends with the lads and it’s coming from a place of banter but that obviously doesn’t help in the edit,” the source told The Sun.
