Iconic BBC game show Hole In The Wall is set to return to screens, with Alison Hammond as host.
The wacky show, which saw lycra-clad celebrities try and fit through holes in a rapidly-approaching polystyrene wall, aired for two series until 2009.
It was hosted first by Dale Winton and then by Strictly star Anton Du Beke.
Now, a source has said the show will be returning with Great British Bake Off host Hammond at the helm.
They told the Sun: “Hole In The Wall got great ratings when it first came out so the Beeb have decided to bring it back.
The source said a pilot is currently being filmed, and that Hammond "jumped at the chance" to host.
They continued: “She’s one of TV’s most in demand stars right now and the Beeb is over the moon that they’ve signed her.
“Alison adores her job and is always on the lookout for shows where she can have a real laugh - that’s why she loves presenting Bake Off and This Morning. They are light-hearted and fun.”
Hole In The Wall is based on a Japanese format. During it's initial run, two teams of celebrities would compete for £10,000 in prize money to be donated to their chosen charity.
One of the most iconic parts of the programme was the host's catchphrase 'Bring on the wall!' which was shouted to activate the wall.
