The actor was best known for playing Hank the security guard on The Office.

Hugh Dane, star of the US version of The Office, has died aged 75. The Inner City Cultural Center posted the notice of his death while sharing details of his memorial service. Outside of The Office, Dane was known for playing supporting roles in a variety of shows and films that included; The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Boy Meets World, The West Wing, Bridesmaids, and many more. Dane's co-star in The Office, Rainn Wilson, has paid tribute to his talents, writing, “He was one of the greats. So kind, funny, talented.
