Actress Jessica Falkholt is in hospital, fighting for her life, after a car crash in Australia.

She is best known for her role as Hope Morrison in Home and Away, when she appeared on the soap in 2016. Home and Away Jessica was travelling in a vehicle on the Princes Highway at Mondayong, south of Sydney, with her family on December 26, when it was involved in a head-on collision with another car. Jessica's two parents have been killed as a result of the accident while Jessica and her sister were airlifted to local hospitals, where the actress remains in a critical condition. One passenger in the other car was killed in the crash. According to local reports, one of the cars was travelling in the wrong direction on the road.
