Happy anniversary to the greatest Come Dine With Me moment ever

A year on, it's still just as painfully awkward...

Whether or not you're an avid viewer of Come Dine With Me, the chances are you heard all about what happened on the show that aired on January 4, 2016. If you didn't, fear not - here's another opportunity to watch it back again in all its glory. In that particular episode, the honour of hosting the final dinner party of the week fell to Peter. At the end of the show, he also got to announce the eventual winner. This turned out to be Jane, much to the displeasure of poor old Pete. Clearly, he felt that Jane had in some way managed to sabotage the result, and made his feelings known with this furious rant.

"You ruined my night completely just so you could have the money. I hope now you will spend it on getting some lessons in grace and decorum because you have all the grace of reversing dump trunk without any tyres on...So Jane, take your money and GET OFF MY PROPERTY!"
