Gordon Ramsay crying at daughter Tilly’s Strictly exit has moved fans

The celebrity chef could be seen wiping back tears of pride after his daughter’s performance on Saturday

Fans have been moved by Gordon Ramsay’s emotional reaction to his daughter Tilly’s exit from Strictly Come Dancing.

Tilly and her dance partner Nikita Kuzmin were eliminated from the show over the weekend after scoring 30 in their Samba and finding themselves in the dreaded dance-off, with the judges sending Rhys Stephenson and his partner Nancy Xu through to the quarter-finals at their expense.

However clearly her dad Gordon couldn’t have been prouder of his daughter’s efforts and was once again unable to hold back his emotions after her performance.

One viewer described his tears of pride as “exactly what fatherhood should be”, with several others clearly moved by his emotion.

After his daughter’s exit from Strictly, the celebrity chef shared a picture of Tilly and Kuzmin on Instagram, writing: “Words can’t describe how proud I am of these 2, hard working polite humble and incredibly down to earth, most of all well done and what a celebration of youth and how happy it makes me feel.

“The future is bright and you 2 will continue to shine lots of love dad.”

Earlier in the series, Ramsay was unable to hold back the tears when he was in the audience to watch Tilly and Kuzmin perform the Charleston.
