Chef Ramsay is a big softy at heart.
Gordon Ramsay was left in tears on Saturday evening as he was overcome with emotion after watching his daughter Tilly compete in Strictly Come Dancing.
Tilly is one of the 15 celebrities competing in this year’s series and on Saturday performed the Charleston with professional dance partner Nikita Kuzmin.
It went down a storm as well. The 19-year-old scored a highly-impressive 34 points from the judges, leaving her joint-top of the leaderboard on the night.
And it all got a bit overwhelming for Gordon, who couldn’t contain his emotions at watching his daughter, bless him.

His emotion didn’t go unnoticed by those in the studio either. Host Tess Daly said to Tilly: “Oh darling, everyone’s on their feet, that was so much fun! Your dad Gordon shed a tear, he’s so proud of you!”
In a tweet after the show, the celebrity chef said: “There was a massive bag of them [onions] next to me. What an amazing performance tonight Tills…so proud !”

Crying is something that some people may feel like doing if they went to Ramsay’s London restaurant and saw some of his prices though. Many have been left in shock at what the chef charges for a single fish, questioning how it can be that good.
