Star of this year’s show, Sophie Faldo, is reportedly being investigated after her biography was spotted on the Bake Off website stating her true living status. It is said that Sophie has been claiming a single person’s allowance despite the fact that she is living with her chef boyfriend David Slattery. It’s being reported that an investigator noticed Sophie’a biography on the GBBO website where she disclosed her true living situation. “Sophie grew up in Suffolk and now lives in Surrey with her boyfriend David and cat Loki,” reads the site’s description of Sophie. It is likely those who are single receive a higher amount in benefits in comparison to someone who is living with a partner, especially one who is working. Sophie is due to appear in the show’s final tomorrow night alongside Steven Carter-Bailey and Kate Lyon.
